Process for the isolation of amino acids containing at least an aromatic or a heteroaromatic ring |
abstract |
Amino acids containing at least one aromatic or heteroaromatic ring are isolated from their solutions by adsorbing them onto macroporous, strongly acidic ion exchangers with an average pore diameter of at least 10 nm. The use of such ion exchangers enables the amino acids mentioned to be eluted almost quantitatively using only small amounts of eluent. |
