Method for reproducibly controlling the crystal size of large crystal zeolite ZSM-5 having an average particle diameter between about 1 and 100 microns prepared from a reaction mixture of alumina, silica, alkali metal oxide, water and tetraalkylammonium compounds, including tetramethylammonium (TMA) wherein the initial OH/SiO 2 ratio is controlled between about 0.01 and 0.5 and the TMA/Si0 2 ratio is between about 0.01 and 1.0. |
