titleOfInvention Agents for preserving the freshness of cut flowers, methods for their production, and their use
The invention relates to the use of known N- (trifluoromethyl) -N - (dichlorofluoromethylsulfenyl) aminobenzoic acids and their salts for keeping cut flowers and other cut plant parts fresh. The compounds of the general formula in which M and R have the meaning given in the description can be used to preserve cut flowers and other cut plant parts. They are particularly effective against mucus-forming bacteria and those pathogenic fungi that are often found in flower vase water.
