A substrate coated with a zinc-rich organic material is bonded to a second substrate. The bonding is carried out by curing an adhesive which contains a polymerizable vinyl monomer, an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene polymer, a free-radical-generating polymerization catalyst, a mono- or polyfunctional organic sulfonyl chloride and, if appropriate, an accelerator. This bonding method is used in particular in the connection of steel sheets provided with a zinc-rich coating in the automotive industry, since it can prevent corrosion. |
