Neue N-Arvl-N'-acrvlovl-ureide der Formeln worin R 4 und R 5 gleich oder verschieden sind und gegebenenfalls durch Halogen substituiertes Alkyl oder Halogen bedeuten, und R 3 Wasserstoff oder ein geradkettiger oder verzweigter Alkylrest bedeutet. The invention relates to a process for the preparation of N-aryl-N'-acryloylureides of the formula wherein R 'and R 2 are identical or different and are hydrogen, optionally substituted by halogen-substituted alkyl or halogen, and R 3 represents hydrogen or a straight-chain or branched alkyl radical, by reacting arylureas with a β-chloropropionyl chloride and subsequent dehydrohalogenation with a base at elevated temperature and the microbicidal use of N-aryl-N'-acryloyl-ureide. New N-Arvl-N'-acrvlovl-ureide of the formula wherein R 4 and R 5 are identical or different and are optionally substituted by halogen-substituted alkyl or halogen, and R 3 is hydrogen or a straight-chain or branched alkyl radical.
