Method for opening a cellulosic paper envelope in which at least one edge of the envelope is applied, as the sole reaction agent with cellulose, a non-deleterious organic acid having at least a pK value at room temperature between 1.5 and 5 approximately, after which heat is applied and a slight mechanical action is exerted on the edge of the envelope. |
