titleOfInvention | Process for the preparation of olefinic oxydes |
abstract | The method comprises reacting with an olefin, an organic solution of carboxylic peracid obtained by reacting the corresponding carboxylic acid with hydrogen peroxide; the organic solvent used is a mixture of inert organic solvents which do not form an azeotrope with the olefin to be epoxidized nor with the olefin oxide and which contain a volatile solvent whose boiling point is lower than that of l olefin oxide and a low volatility solvent whose boiling point is higher than that of olefin oxide. |
