Stable, flowable dispersions of rubbers in the form of discrete particles with an average diameter of 100 to 3000 nm in organic liquids, containing: A - as rubber 1 - 20 wt .-%, based on the total dispersion, of a cross-linked diene rubber; B - 0 to 20% by weight, based on the total dispersion, of water in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion; C - as a continuous organic phase 99-66% by weight, based on total dispersion, a) C 1 -C 10 alkyl acrylates or alkyl methacrylates, methyl methacrylate, ethyl acrylate or n-hexyl acrylate, or b) mixture of 85 to 50% by weight styrene or a-methyl styrene and 15-50 wt .-% acrylonitrile, methacrylonitrile or C 6 alkyl acrylates or alkyl methacrylates, methyl methacrylate, ethyl acrylate, n-hexyl acrylate, or c) mixture of 85-50 wt .-% C 1 -C 10- alkyl acrylate or alkyl methacrylate and 15-50% by weight of acrylonitrile, methacrylonitrile or styrene, where a), b) and c) can contain up to 60% by weight of a liquid hydrocarbon, and a process for their preparation. |
