The invention relates to a process for the production of optionally cell-containing polyurethane elastomers by reacting organic polyisocyanates, polyesterols, by polycondensation of at least one organic dicarboxylic acid with a diol mixture which contains: 10 to 30% by weight of 1,4-butanediol, 40 to 60% by weight of 1,5-pentanediol and 15 to 35% by weight of 1,6-hexanediol, the percentages by weight based on the total weight of the diol mixture being obtained, and chain extenders in the presence of, if appropriate, catalysts, blowing agents, auxiliaries and additives .n n n The optionally cell-containing polyurethane elastomers have good mechanical properties, in particular an excellent compression set with high hydrolysis resistance and good low-temperature behavior. |
