titleOfInvention | Process for producing photographic images, and suitable photographic material |
abstract | A process for the production of photographic images, which is characterized in that (a) an image-wise exposure is made of a photographic material which, at least during the silver halide development stage, in this order optionally a cover layer (7), at least one silver halide emulsion layer (5), a layer which contains a substantive Contains azamethine compound (2), and contains a support (1), optionally with one or more intermediate layers each between these components, (b) the exposed photographic material is treated with an aqueous processing bath in order to obtain a solution or dispersion of a bleach developer compound in or to make the silver halide emulsion layer (s) available and thereby develop the latent silver image in the silver halide emulsion (s), and (c) at the locations without a latent image, the bleach developer compound runs counter to the image from the silver halide emulsion layer (s) diffuses into the layer containing a substantive azamethine compound in order to bleach the compound there to form a dye image. |
