titleOfInvention | A method of producing thrombosis-resistant surfaces |
abstract | A method of treating surfaces of instruments for medical use intended to be in contact with blood or blood plasma in order to impart to the surfaces an effect opposing the formation of thrombi. The surfaces are treated with a wetting solution of a salt of a metal capable of causing a hydrogen ionization peptide and of forming complex compounds with heparin, hirudin and coagulating proteins other than hirudin, such as '' a rhodium salt or a palladium salt, before applying a layer of heparin, hirudin or anticoagulant proteins other than hirudin. |
