titleOfInvention | Receiving elements containing a water-permeable binder as dyestuff mordant, and photographic materials containing the same |
abstract | A photographic element is provided which contains a receiving layer for transferred dyes. The receiving element consists of a support with a pickling layer cast thereon and containing a water-soluble binder, in which particles of an anionically charged, water-insoluble copolymer are dispersed. The copolymer consists of a monomer providing a water-insoluble polymer in the homopolymerization and a monomer containing a sulfonate group and providing a water-soluble polymer in the homopolymerization. These receiving elements can be used for pickling cationic dyes in photographic dye transfer processes. They can also be used in single-eye transmission processes. |
