Process for the condensation of solids, in particular phosphates, which tend to sinter and / or stick during the condensation, in which the solids subjected to the condensation are mixed in a reactor, pressed in a thin layer against a heated reactor wall and the condensed hard layer is removed again the reactor wall peels off and returns to the inside of the reactor. The reactor wall is preferably heated by means of a salt or metal melt, the heat transfer into the interior of the reactor takes place by peeling off the hot condensed layer.n n n The device for carrying out this method consists of a heatable reactor housing, which is preferably provided with a heat pocket containing metal or molten salt, with an internal star-shaped mixing tool with paddles, at least one paddle being replaced by a peeling knife which is arranged at a short distance from the reactor wall.
