abstract |
An improved reagent for determining pregnancy is described. The reagent according to the invention consists of the β chain of human chorionic gonadotropin which is bound to a suitable inert, polymeric latex carrier. The reagent according to the invention has greater sensitivity than similar reagents which were prepared with purified human chorionic gonadotropin, whereas the raw material used in the reagent according to the invention is comparatively crude. |
