At least one alkaline polyphenol salt is reacted with at least one halo-1 epoxy-2,3 alkane, in an anhydrous, aprotic and heterogeneous medium in the presence of at least one organic compound chosen from the group consisting of acetonitrile, propionitrile, benzonitrile and ethylene sulfide.n n n The method is particularly suitable for the preparation of glycidic polyethers of bisphenol-A and in particular for the preparation of liquid glycidic polyethers. |
