abstract Benzene sulphonic acid and toluene sulphonic acid salts of 2-cyano-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane are novel compounds. The cis and trans isomeric salts can be separated by virtue of their differing solubilities in water, methanol and ethanol, thereby providing a method of isolating relatively pure cis and trans isomers of 2-cyano-3-azabicyclo-[3.1.0]hexane or 2-carboxy-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane.
