titleOfInvention | Chemically stabilised azulmic acids, process for their preparation and their use |
abstract | The invention relates to new azulmic acids stabilized by reaction with aminoplast formers and carbonyl compounds or their condensation products, several processes for their preparation and their use for various purposes.n n n The compounds containing 0.5 to 55 percent by weight of ionic groups of the formula in which R has the meaning given in the description, and with a content of 0.5 to 15 percent by weight of groups of the formula formed by decarboxylation reactions can be obtained by several processes, for example by adding modified azulmic acids optionally containing additives with a content of 0.5 to 55 percent by weight of ionic groups in an aqueous medium, optionally in the presence of additives and optionally in the presence of catalysts and optionally in the presence of chain terminators with aminoplast formers and carbonyl compounds or their freshly prepared, optionally chemically modified condensation products.n n n Numerous substances according to the invention can be used as flame retardants or anti-aging agents to prevent oxidative degradation in a wide variety of polyurethane plastics, vinyl polymers, polyamide plastics, rubbers and epoxy resins.n n n Adducts of azulmic acids stabilized according to the invention with compounds such as e.g. Phospholine oxide phosphonic acids, as catalysts for the heterogeneous catalysis of isocyanates and polyisocyanates to polycarbodiimides.n n n In addition, materials of the invention can be used as carrier materials for numerous catalysts, and mixed catalysts arise that vi e is - let lseitig use. |
