abstract The invention relates to a new influenza vaccine and its preparation. The vaccine contains a new strain of virus prepared by recombination between the strains of virus iniluenza A / PR / 8/34 and A / Ataska / 5/77 (CNCM I-0631. It is called RIT 4199 (CNCM 1-062). The vaccine is prepared by culture of the strain of virus CNCM I-062 in the allantoic cavity of embryonated chicken eggs, harvesting and lyophilization of the virus produced.n n n The virus strain and the vaccine derived from it can be used in the prevention of influenza.
