titleOfInvention Substituted 2-phenylamino-2-imidazolines, their acid addition salts, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and process for their preparation
abstract Compounds of the formula <IMAGE> wherein R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, represent a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom, or a methyl group, with the proviso that not both R1 and R2 are hydrogen, and R represents a radical selected from the group consisting of -(CH2)2 -C(CH3)=CH2, -(CH2)2-CH=CH2, -O-CH2-CH=CH2, -O-(CH2)2-CH=CH2, -O-CH2-C(CH3)=CH2, -O-CH2-CH=CH-CH3, <IMAGE> <IMAGE> +TR <IMAGE> and non-toxic, pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof. The compounds as well as their salts are useful as bradycardiacs.
