The present invention relates to the new optically active enantiomers of halopyridyloxy-a-phenoxy-propionic acid derivatives, having the R and / or S configuration on the asymmetric carbon atom marked with, which has the formula in which Hal is chlorine or bromine, X is hydrogen, chlorine or bromine and A is one of the groups - -COOR 1 , CO-SR 2 or mean, where R 1 to R 4 are hydrogen or optionally substituted hydrocarbon radicals, R 1 and R 2 but also cations.
