abstract The invention relates to alkylamino propanol derivatives of 3-alkyl-5- (2-hydroxystyryl) isoxazole of the general formula in which R is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl radical having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, which is optionally substituted by hydroxy, alkoxy having 1 to 3 carbon atoms in the alkyl or a cycloalkyl radical having 3 to 8 carbon atoms in the ring, an alkenyl or Alkynyl radical with 2 to 8 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl radical with 3 to 8 carbon atoms in the ring, the cycloalkyl rings optionally being mono- or disubstituted by an alkyl radical with 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and R 'an alkyl radical with 1 to 4 mean carbon atoms and their physiologically compatible acid addition salts, their preparation and pharmaceutical preparations containing these compounds, which can be used as valuable medicaments in the treatment of hypertension, coronary heart disease and cardiac arrhythmias.
