titleOfInvention | Waste water aeration basin |
abstract | A wastewater aeration tank of a clarification system has a wastewater tank (1) sunk in the ground (2), into which three vertical pipes (8) project, which connect the surface water of the tank (1) to the bottom water. A downward flow (9) is generated in the pipes by feed pumps (10), so that the waste water (21) in the tank circulates upwards and back in the pipes. In each tube (8) in the upper part of the same (12) devices (13.14) for the fine-biased introduction of a ventilation gas (16, 17) are arranged. The flow rate (V) of the waste water in the pipe (8), immediately below this upper part (12), is greater than the rate of lift (V A ) of the gas bubbles introduced into the flow (9) at the same point (20). Since the gas is not discharged into the wastewater in the bottom zone (11) of the container, but in the upper part of the pipe, the gas pressure is lower than when the gas is introduced directly into the bottom zone and the energy consumption is lower with high ventilation efficiency. |
