titleOfInvention Fluxing agent for concrete and mortar and process for its preparation
abstract A flow agent for concrete and mortar based on lignin sulfonate on the one hand and core sulfonated or sulfomethylated aromatics on the other hand, in which the mixture of the base materials has been subjected to condensation and sulfitation. This superplasticizer is inexpensive and fulfills all requirements regarding liquefaction, setting behavior and dosage.n n n In the manufacturing process, a nuclear sulfonated or sulfomethylated aromatic can either be sulfonated with the addition of sulfuric acid and then condensed with urea and formaldehyde, or sulfited with the addition of sodium sulfite and water and then condensed with formaldehyde, whereupon lignin sulfonate is then added, with the addition of urea and formaldehyde is condensed and sulfited with sodium sulfite. Starting from a core-sulfonated aromatic, sulfonation can also be carried out first with the addition of sulfuric acid, whereupon it is condensed with urea and formaldehyde, then sulfited, then condensed with formaldehyde with the addition of lignin suffonate and condensed with urea.
