abstract New compositions comprising at least one alkenyl succinimide of formula: where R represents an alkenyl group containing from 20 to 200 carbon atoms and m is an integer between 1 and 3.n n n They can be prepared by the action of an alkenylsuccinic anhydride in which the alkenyl group contains from 20 to 200 carbon atoms, with tris (5-amino-3-thia-pentyl) amine. They can be used as additives for lubricating oils.
