4-Spectinomycylamin and its physiologically acceptable salts, method of preparation and pharmaceutical products containing these substances |
abstract |
The invention relates to the 4-spectinomycylamine of the formula as a new substance its physiologically compatible acid addition salts with inorganic or organic acids and their preparation by methods known per se.n n n The spectinomycin of formula I and its acid addition salts act against a large number of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and are characterized by a wide therapeutic range, they are particularly suitable for the prophylaxis and chemotherapy of local and systemic infections in human and veterinary medicine. Specinomycin can be produced, for example, by reducing a spectinomycin oxime, optionally provided with protective groups, the protective group being subsequently split off again. |
