titleOfInvention COMPOSITIONS OF POLYPEPTIDES WITH IMPROVED STABILITY
abstract The present invention provides means for improving the chemical stability of parenteral aqueous pharmaceutical compositions comprising a polypeptide and glycerin. Reactive aldehydes are identified in commercial glycerin and means are provided to reduce the level of said reactive aldehydes in glycerin and a clear linear relationship between the level of reactive aldehydes of glycerin and the chemical stability of compositions comprising a polypeptide and glycerin are demonstrated. . The invention includes aqueous compositions comprising a polypeptide and glycerin and having improved chemical stability compared to previously known compositions.
