abstract A method for reducing the viscosity of a pharmaceutical composition is proposed, which uses an excipient selected from the group consisting of N-acetyl arginine, N-acetyllisine, N-acetylproline and their mixtures, in a concentration that reduces the viscosity in combination with a therapeutic protein. Additionally, a stable pharmaceutical formulation is offered.
