abstract | The invention discloses herbicidal compositions comprising a herbicidally effective amount of (a) a pyridinecarboxylic acid herbicide or an agriculturally acceptable N-oxide, salt or ester thereof, and (b) a photosystem II inhibitor or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof or an ester. Also disclosed herein are methods for controlling unwanted vegetation, which include applying to vegetation or an area adjacent to vegetation, or applying to soil or water to prevent emergence or vegetation growth (a) a pyridinecarboxylic acid herbicide or acceptable agriculturally N-oxide, salt or ester, and (b) a photosystem II inhibitor or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof, where each of (a) and (b) is added in an amount sufficient to provide herbicidal effect. |
