titleOfInvention METHOD FOR ORAL MUCOSA LEUKOPLAKIA TREATMENT
abstract The invention relates to medicine and can be used in dentistry in the treatment of leukoplakia of the oral mucosa (LSOR). The objective of the present invention is to develop a simple, inexpensive and affordable method for the treatment of leukoplakia of the oral mucosa, which makes it possible to reduce complications and implement it in a dental clinic. The implementation of this method is achieved due to the fact that vitamin B2 (riboflavin) is taken orally at a dosage of 1.6-1.8 mg for 2 weeks, then sequential therapy is carried out with lasers of the violet and red spectrum of light with operating wavelengths of 6605 nm and 4055 nm for 3 minutes each for 10 days in combination with the use of a solution of vitamin B2 in dimethyl sulfoxide as a photosensitizer for 10 minutes immediately before laser therapy. The proposed method can be recommended to patients with LSOR as simple, well tolerated (minimal risk of complications and side reactions), effective, implemented in a dental clinic and inexpensive.
