titleOfInvention | COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING RECOMBINANT ACID α-GLUCOSIDASE |
abstract | Pharmaceutical formulations containing recombinant acid α-glucosidase are presented, where recombinant acid α-glucosidase is obtained by expression in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells and is characterized by an increased content of N-glycan units bearing one or two mannose-6-phosphate residues, comparison with the content of N-glycan units bearing one or two mannose-6-phosphate residues in alglucosidase-alpha; at least one buffer selected from the group consisting of citrate, phosphate, and combinations thereof; and at least one excipient selected from the group consisting of mannitol, polysorbate 80, and combinations thereof, where the composition is characterized by a pH ranging from about 5.0 to about 7.0. Also presented are methods for treating Pompe's disease using data from pharmaceutical formulations. |
