| abstract | The invention relates to a block copolymer and its use as an additive to improve cold resistance to fuel or fuel. The block copolymer contains: (i) block A, consisting of a chain of structural fragments produced from at least one α, β-unsaturated alkyl methacrylate or α-acrylate monomer; and (ii) block B, consisting of a chain of structural fragments produced from at least one α, β-unsaturated monomer, selected from styrene derivatives, the aromatic ring of which is substituted by at least one R group, selected from C-C1-6 alkyl groups esters, more preferably acetoxy groups, and preferably chains based on acyclic linear or branched C-C hydrocarbons, wherein said chain is substituted by at least one group containing a quaternary ammonium salt. The invention also relates to an additive concentrate containing such a copolymer, and to its use as an anti-settling additive, and, in an advantageous case, as an additive in the form of an amplifier, PTF values. |
