titleOfInvention METHOD OF OBTAINING DIOSMINE
abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing diosmin from hesperidin. The method involves the oxidation of acylated hesperidin with iodine or bromine in the medium of C-C-carboxylic acid and subsequent treatment with an inorganic base with partial neutralization of the acidic medium. The method allows to obtain diosmin with a low content of iodine or bromine, eliminating the use of organic solvents.
