titleOfInvention | EXTRACTION OF CARBONIC ACID FROM ITS MAGNETIC SALTS BY DEPOSITING USING HYDROCHLORIC ACID FITTING THE PRODUCT OF THE REACTION FROM THE ENZYMAL BULON |
abstract | This invention provides a method of producing a carboxylic acid, comprising the following steps: providing magnesium carboxylate, wherein the carboxylic acid corresponding to the carboxylate is selected from the group consisting of 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid, fumaric acid, adipic acid, itaconic acid, citric acid, glutaric acid maleic acid, malonic acid, oxalic acid and fatty acids having more than 10 carbon atoms; acidifying the magnesium carboxylate with hydrogen chloride (HCl), whereby a solution is obtained containing carboxylic acid and magnesium chloride (MgCl); perhaps a concentration step in which the solution containing carboxylic acid and MgCl2 is concentrated; precipitating the carboxylic acid from a solution containing carboxylic acid and MgCl, whereby a carboxylic acid precipitate and MgCl solution are obtained. It was found that the addition of HCl to the magnesium salt of the carboxylic acid and the subsequent precipitation of the carboxylic acid from this solution leads to a very effective separation of the carboxylic acid from the magnesium carboxylate solution. |
