abstract | The application proposes a method for producing a pharmaceutical preparation of Glatiramer acetate and mannitol in a suitable container, comprising the steps of: (i) obtaining an aqueous pharmaceutical solution of Glatiramer acetate and mannitol; (ii) filtering this aqueous pharmaceutical solution at a temperature ranging from above 0 ° C up to 17.5 ° C to obtain a filtrate; (iii) filling a suitable container with a filtrate obtained after carrying out step (ii), so as to obtain a pharmaceutical preparation of Glatiramer acetate and mannitol in a suitable container. This patent additionally proposes an aqueous pharmaceutical solution containing 40 mg / ml glatiramer acetate and 40 mg / ml mannitol, and this aqueous pharmaceutical solution a) has a viscosity in the range from 2.0 to 3.5 MPa; or b) has an osmolality ranging from 275 to 325 mosmol / kg. A pre-filled syringe, an automatic injector, and a method for treating a human patient are also provided. |
