titleOfInvention CRYSTALLINE FORMS OF D-GLUCITOL, 1-DEOXY-1- (METYLAMINO) -, 1- (6-AMINO-3,5-DIFTORPYRIDIN-2-IL) -8-CHLOR-6-FTOR-1,4-DIGYDRO-7 - (3-HYDROXYAZETIDIN-1-IL) -4-OXO-3-QUINOLINKARBOXYLATE
abstract The present invention relates generally to anhydrous D-glucitol, 1-deoxy-1- (methylamino) -, 1- (6-amino-3,5-difluoropyridin-2-yl) -8-chloro-6-fluoro-1, 4-dihydro-7- (3-hydroxyazetidin-1-yl) -4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylate, compositions containing it, and methods for its preparation. Delafloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic with a chemical structure and the chemical name is 1-deoxy-1- (methylamino) -, 1- (6-amino-3,5-difluoropyridin-2-yl) -8-chloro-6-fluoro-1, 4-dihydro-7- (3-hydroxyazetidin-1-yl) -4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylate. Studies indicate the presence of three anhydrous polymorphs of delafloxacin, as well as trihydrate and solvates of methanol and ethanol.
