abstract The invention relates to medicine and includes a means for treating viral hepatitis C, which is glutaryl histamine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. This agent may also be administered in combination with pegylated interferon and ribavirin. The invention additionally relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating viral hepatitis C. By means of this invention, the problem of providing a new agent effective in the treatment of viral hepatitis C and allowing to obtain a stable virologic response is solved.
