A method is proposed for obtaining materials rich in genipin from the fruits of Genipa americana for their use as a crosslinking agent and as a raw material for the preparation of dyes. These genipin-rich materials can be applied to a wide range of areas, including personal hygiene, cosmetics, dietary supplements, packaging, textiles, beverages, food, medicine, and animal feed. |
