The invention relates to a method for filling and storing a vaccine composition comprising an antigen adsorbed on an aluminum-based adjuvant, which (a) includes (i) filling a container with a composition; and (ii) closing this container with a device acting, in particular, as a stopper, the surface of this device in contact with the composition is coated with a fluoropolymer such as Teflon ™; and / or (b) placing the composition in a container whose inner surface is coated with polymerized silicone. The use of a fluoropolymer or polymerized silicone optimizes the stability of the adsorbed antigen during storage. In a specific embodiment of the invention, the antigen is a hepatitis B virus surface antigen and the aluminum-based adjuvant is aluminum oxyhydroxide. |
