abstract | The present invention relates to a contrast medium composition (formulation) containing a highly concentrated contrast agent for use in an imaging method. The contrast medium composition of the present invention, which contains iodine functioning as a contrast agent at a higher concentration than the previously used concentration, exhibits a higher contrast enhancement effect in both the arterial phase and the portal phase when used for liver CT, than the composition containing the contrast medium at the concentration used previously. Accordingly, images having excellent resolution and contrast can be obtained. |
