titleOfInvention BICYCLIC THIAZOLES AS AN ALLYSTERIC MODULATORS OF MGLUR5 RECEPTORS
abstract The present invention relates to new bicyclic thiazoles of formula (I), which are positive allosteric modulators of the metabotropic glutamate receptor of subtype 5 ("mGluR5") and are useful in the treatment or prevention of disorders associated with glutamate dysfunction and diseases in which the mGluR5 receptor subtype accepts participation. The invention is also directed to pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds, to methods for producing such compounds and compositions, and to the use of such compounds and compositions for the treatment of disorders in the pathogenesis of which mGluR5 is involved.
