The invention relates to a composition with a slow release, which includes a derivative of metastin and a copolymer of lactic acid - glycolic acid, having a mass-average molecular weight of from about 5,000 to about 40,000, or its salt. The sustained release composition of the present invention slowly and stably releases compound (I) or its salt for an extended period of time and demonstrates the medical effect of compound (I) or its salt for an extended period of time. In addition, the sustained-release composition of the present invention, which improves patient compliance with the regimen and treatment regimen, by reducing the number of injections, is an excellent composition as a clinical drug. |
