abstract A method for producing fuel from a biodegradable carbon-containing material using a multilayer particle bioreactor is proposed. A biodegradable carbon-containing material in a multilayer bioreactor of particles aerobically and / or anaerobically is bioconverted into one or more synthetic fuels that are collected from the reactor. Synthetic fuels produced by the method may include synthetic oil, alcohol and / or gaseous fuels containing methane.
