abstract | The object of the present invention is to develop a specific method that allows the production of high quality aromatic polycarbonate with high performance characteristics, having excellent mechanical properties and not changing color, in a large amount (for example, not less than 1 t / h) for a long period of time. time (for example, not less than 1000 hours, preferably not less than 3000 hours, more preferably not less than 5000 hours) from a dialkyl carbonate and an aromatic dihydroxy compound.
