abstract This invention relates to certain pyrazole derivatives of formula (I) and their pharmaceutical compositions that modulate the activity of the 5-HT serotonin receptor. The compounds and their pharmaceutical compositions are directed to methods suitable for the prevention or treatment of platelet aggregation, coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, rapidly transient attacks of ischemia, angina pectoris, stroke, atrial fibrillation, reducing the risk of blood clots, asthma or its symptoms, agitation or her symptoms, behavioral disorders caused by medication psychosis, reactive psychosis, Gilles de la Tourrette syndrome, manic syndrome, organic or NOS psychosis, psychotic disorder psychosis, acute schizophrenia, chronic schizophrenia, NOS schizophrenia and related diseases, and sleep disorders, diabetes related disorders, and the like.
