abstract The application describes a new method for the preparation of crystalline ciclesonide with a suitable particle size, and use for the preparation of pharmaceutical preparations, especially for local application. Crystalline ciclesonide, obtained by a new method, has favorable aerodynamic characteristics and, without additional mechanical micronization, can be further processed into pharmaceutical preparations intended for inhalation or nasal administration.
