The invention relates to new solid pharmaceutical compositions comprising an angiotensin II receptor antagonist telmisartan, the main agent, surfactant or emulsifier and water-soluble diluent, for example, in the form of granules or in powder form, as well as solid oral dosage forms ready for use ingestion, for example, capsule or tablet dosage forms prepared from the aforementioned pharmaceutical compositions, and methods for producing the aforementioned compositions and dosage forms m, using a fluidized bed granulation technique or a spray drying technique.
