titleOfInvention COMPOSITION ON THE BASIS OF ASCORBIC ACID AND METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF AGING OR DAMAGED SKIN
abstract A composition based on ascorbic acid and the corresponding method of treatment of aging or damaged light skin are described. The composition includes water and ascorbic acid, at least part of which is pretreated by dissolving under relatively high temperatures and concentrations. The composition typically includes at least about 5% (w / v) ascorbic acid, and is preferably adjusted so that its pH is above 3.5. In general, the composition also includes a non-toxic zinc salt, a tyrosine compound, and / or a cosmetically acceptable carrier. In addition, the composition may include an anti-inflammatory compound, such as an amino sugar and / or a sulfur-containing anti-inflammatory agent. The composition for external use may be in the form of a serum, hydrophilic lotion, ointment, cream or gel. The international application was published along with an international search report.
