The compounds of formula (I), where A is an unbranched CC-alkylen, possibly substituted by CC-alkyl, X is O, S, NH or N (CC-alkyl), Y is O, S, NH or N (CC- alkyl), R is a C-linked 4-6-membered ring non-aromatic heterocyclic group containing one nitrogen heteroatom, and this group is optionally substituted with 1, 2 or 3 substituents, each of which is independently selected from CC-alkyl, CC-alkenyl, CC-cycloalkyl, aryl, het, -CO (CC-alkyl), -CO (het), -CONRR and -CO (aryl), with the indicated alkyl and alkenyl being possible substituted by 1 or 2 substituents, each independently selected from CC-cycloalkyl, aryl, het, -O (aryl), -O (CC-alkylene) aryl, -CO (het), -CONRR and -CO (aryl) are inhibitors of the enzyme rotamase, in particular FKBP-12 and FKBP-52. These compounds thus stimulate the regeneration and growth of neurons and can be used to treat neurological disorders resulting from neurodegenerative diseases, or other disorders that involve nerve damage. The international application was published along with an international search report. |
