abstract |
The drug delivery device may include a lower housing element that includes a housing retainer. The device may further comprise a needle protector that is movable relative to the body along a first direction from a first position to a second position to expose the needle, and an upper body member secured relative to the lower body member. The upper housing element may be movable relative to the lower housing element along the second direction from a position prior to use to a dispensing position. The body lock may be configured to lock the upper body member so that it can be removed later if the upper body member is in a pre-use position to prevent the upper body member from moving to the dispensing position and movement of the needle guard to the second position causes the contact to be removed by whereby ensuring the connection of the upper housing element from the first position to the second position. |
