abstract |
The present invention relates to a procatalyst containing a compound represented by Formula A as an internal electron donor, wherein R is hydrogen or a methyl group; N is a nitrogen atom; O represents an oxygen atom; and C is a carbon atom. The present invention also relates to a process for the preparation of said procatalyst for polymerization and to a catalyst system for polymerization comprising said procatalyst, cocatalyst and optionally an external electron donor. In addition, the present invention relates to a polyolefin obtainable by the process according to the present invention and the use of a compound of formula A as an internal electron donor in olefin polymerization catalysts. |
